Simchat torah
Next observance: sunset of wednesday, the 20th of OCTOBER 2011
Simchat Torah will be celebrated on Friday, October 21st.
For us at Remnant, this is a joyful time to celebrate God’s Word. We will be rejoicing with song and dance as we form a parade around the synagogue.
Simchat Torah, known as Rejoicing over the Torah, is the last day of this special time to celebrate God’s Goodness. This is a time when the Jewish people roll back their Torahs to begin the Scripture readings all over again in Genesis 1:1.
